The Garrett Recreational Trails Task Force has proposed
upwards of 150 miles of trails, easy to difficult, all backed by
forestland and great mountain views. Even indoor venues
and groomed trails are available at local ski runs. The
Margraff Plantation, part of the Savage River State Forest,
has a good single-track trail marked with white blazes.
Numerous biking businesses provide advice, maps and
rental equipment- bikes, helmets, tools - as well.

completed Adventure Sports Center International these sports have
reached a whole new level. Built to Olympic Standards, the ASCI's
state-of-the-art re-circulating whitewater course is unlike any other
variable whitewater course in the world. Spanning 1,700 feet in
length the course closely resembles a natural waterway in how it
looks, feels and performs. Water can be pumped up to 250,000
gallons per minute so participants enjoy reliable whitewater that
ranges from class II to class IV rapids, and can be varied to
produce waves and whitewater suitable to their skills and abilities.
The conditions of the whitewater course change at scheduled times
during the day to provide visitors the opportunity to get n the water
when the challenge best matches their skill.
