No Pets Please!!!

Guest must be at least 21 years of age to rent a hotel room.

Management reserves the right to deny refunds, including; but not
limited to early departures.

All stays are subject to 6% Maryland Tax and 5% Garrett County
Occupancy Tax. (Please note: Maryland Sales Tax changed from 5%
to 6% on January 6th, 2008.)

Hotel room reservations require a credit card to hold the reservation and
can be cancelled within 48 hours of the arrival date with no cancellation
fee. Room reservations cancelled after 48 hours prior of the guest's
arrival date will be charged 50% of the first night's stay if we are notified
by the guest of the cancellation; and 100% of the first night's stay if the
guest does not notify us and does not arrive on the arrival date. Rooms
will be inspected immediately upon departure. Any damage to the room
will be charged to the guest with or without guest's prior knowledge.
Guests can request a walk-through of the room with an agent
immediately before check-in and immediately following check-out during
business hours to check for damage in the room.

Management is not responsible for lost and/or stolen item(s) or item(s)
left in the room or on the grounds, including on or near  the boat docks.
Management is not responsible for any accident and/or injury to the
guests or visitors.

Any guests mooring a boat at the boat docks are required to have
liability insurance and are responsible for any damage to the dock.

Guest Policy-"I agree that my liability for my bill is not waived and agree
to be held personally liable in the event that the responsible person or
company failed to pay for any part or full amount of these charges,
including any missing or damaged items, or room damage, etc. I agree
that if an attorney is retained to collect these charges, I will pay all
responsible attorney fees and costs incurred, including the cost of any
and all damages or missing items, etc. I agree that the sole purpose of
renting this room and/or Chalet House is for my residency only."

If a guest brings a pet into one of our rooms they will be charged $300
on the credit card of which the room was held. For smoking a charge of
$200 will be enforced.
